Visiting Tuscany without a car is easy. It’s nice to go on vacation but it’s not nice to be unprepared in the various unpleasant situations. Obviously in every new place everything will be unknown, but even more if you are in another country. If you arrive in Tuscany by plane you probably land in Pisa. In Tuscany there are two airports, one in Pisa – Galileo Galilei and another in Florence – Amerigo Vespucci, however most flights land in Pisa. Once you land, you will surely be looking forward to your dreamed destination. But which is the best way? We speak of the destinations preferred by tourists such as Pisa, the Versilia area (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi,) and Florence and Siena. Let’s see how to move.

Visiting Tuscany without a car is easy.

Getting around by train.

Fortunately, as in many European cities, Pisa airport is connected by rail. Then you will find the train that takes you to the central station “Pisa Centrale” in a few minutes and from there you can move comfortably during the day. Instead if you should travel at night there is less connection. To see the Piazza dei Miracoli, get off at the “San Rossore” station. HERE buy the ticket for the Tower. By buying the ticket online, it is not necessary to print it. But if you buy the paper ticket, remember to compost it with one of the spots you find on the tracks.

Traveling by train is the most convenient, fastest and safest way. Italian trains almost always arrive on time and travel frequently. In addition, you have the opportunity to choose the most comfortable train.
